Visa

Global Talent visa (subclass 858) is a permanent visa for people who have an internationalrecognized record of exceptional and outstanding achievement. Your achievements must be exceptional and outstanding. This means you

  • are prominent in your field

  • have superior abilities to others in your field

  • are acclaimed as exceptional in any country where your field is practised

  • have a record of sustained achievement unlikely to diminish in the near future

Partner
Visa

This visa is for individuals having anAustralian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen spouse or de facto partner and wish to live in Australia permanently. This is two stages visa where stage one is temporary/provisionaland stage two is permanent. You can apply for this visa while you are outside Australia (subclass 309/100) or when you are in Australia (subclass 820/801).

Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300)

You may apply for this visa if you intend to marry your prospective Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. This visa will allow you to stay in Australian between 9 and 15 months.

Business & Investment
Visa

This visa is for investors, business owners and senior executives wishing to start own business and settle in Australia. This visa offers temporary to permanent pathway.

This is a 2 stages visa and offers the following pathways:

Stage 1

  1. Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188)

  • Business Innovation stream (188A)

  • Investor stream (188B)

  • Significant Investor stream (188C)

  • Premium Investor stream (188D)

  • Entrepreneur stream (188E)
     

Stage 2

  1. Business Innovation and Investment (permanent) visa (subclass 888)
    This is the second and permanent stage of business and investment visa. The holder of businessinnovation and investment (provisional) visa can apply for this permanent stage visa after2 years in the business innovation stream and 4 years in the Investor stream.

Visitor Visa

Are you planning to visit Australiafor a holiday or to meet family and friends? Visitor visaallows you to visit Australia as a tourist, to see family and friends or for purposes other than business or medical treatment. You may be granted stay for up to 12 monthswith multiple entries.

 

Visitor visa (subclass 600) has different categories which are:

  1. Tourist Stream

  2. Family sponsored stream

  3. Business visitor stream

  4. Approved destination status stream

  5. Frequent traveler stream

ParentsVisa

This visa is for parents of Australian citizens and settled permanent resident,who wish to live in Australia permanently. Parents must meet the Balance of Family Test. Your sponsor must agree to provide yousupport, housing and financial help for the first 2 years

 

Parent visa has different categories which are:

 

  1. Parent visa

  2. Aged Parent visa

  3. Contributory Parent Visa

  4. Contributory Aged Parent visa

Employer Sponsored
Visa

This visa allows an Australian employer to sponsor an overseas worker on a temporary or permanent basis to live and work in Australia.

It has below categories:

  1. Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482)
    This is a temporary visa. You can stay in Australia up to a maximum 2 years or 4 years, depending on Short-Term or Medium-Term stream. Hong Kong passport holders may stay up to 5 years.

  2. Skills Employer Sponsored regional (provisional) visa (subclass 494)
    This is a temporary to permanent pathway visa which allows the visa holder to stay in Australia for 5 years. You can apply for permanent visa after living and working for 3 years in the designated regional area.

  3. Employer Nominations Scheme (subclass 186)
    This is a permanent visa which allows you to live and work in Australia permanently.

AAT
Appeals

An individual can appeal to the Administrative Appeal Tribunal (AAT) to review avisa decision. If you have a visa application refused or visa cancelled by the Department of Home Affairs, you can apply to the AAT to review the decision of refusal or cancellation

Temporary Work
Visa

​This visa allows an individual to work in Australia on a temporary basis, for specific time period. It has below categories:

  1. Training visa (subclass 407)
    This visa allows you to take part in workplace-based occupational training activities to improve your skills for your job, area of tertiary study, field of expertise or in a professional development training program in Australia.

  2. Temporary Activity visa (subclass 408)
    This visa allows you to come to Australia to do specific type of work on a short-term basis.

  3. Skilled – Recognized Graduate visa (subclass 476)
    This visa is for recent engineering graduates, have completed a degree or higher qualification from a specified institution within the past 2 years and wishes to live, work or study in Australia for up to 18 months.

  4. Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485)

 

This visa is for international students who wish to live, study and work in Australia after completing their study. You must be a recent graduate of a CRICOS registered course.

 

Temporary Graduate visa has various streams:

  • Graduate Work stream

  • Post-Study Work stream

  • Second Post-Study Work stream

  • Replacement stream

Australian Citizenship

Australian citizenship is a final and important step in someone’s migration story. Becoming an Australian citizen means that you are making an ongoing commitment to Australia and Australian shared values.

You can become a citizen of Australia in different ways:

  1. Australian citizenship by birth:
    You become an Australian citizen automatically if you are born in Australia and at least one parent was an Australian citizen or permanent resident at the time of your birth.

  2. Australian citizenship by conferral:
    You need to be a permanent resident of Australia or an eligible New Zealand citizen, meet the residency and other eligibility requirements before you apply for an Australian citizenship. 

  3. Australian citizenship by descent
    You could be eligible to become an Australian citizen if you are born outside Australia and at least one parent was an Australian citizen at the time of your birth.

Student
Visa

The student visa (subclass 500) allows international students to undertake full time education and training in Australia. This visa enables a student to stay in Australia for the duration of the relevant visa.from1 July 2023, an individual on student visa can work 48 hours per fortnight during the study period. You can include your family members when you apply for your visa or can apply once the primary applicant has been granted a student visa.

SkilledVisa

Are you a skilled individual willing to migrate to Australia to work andlive permanently, then this visa is suitable for you. Skilled visas are pointtest based and your nominated occupation must be on the Skilled Occupation List before you can submit an Expression of Interest. You must receive an invitation before you lodge a visa application.

Skilled visa hasvarious streams:

  1. Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189)

  2. Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)

  3. Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491)
